About Me
Chad Gammon, CFP® and EA, is the founder of Custom Fit Financial LLC, and advice-only, fee-only financial planning firm based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology sector, much of it in leadership roles, Chad discovered his true passion lay in mentoring others, particularly in finance and career planning.
This realization led him to establish Custom Fit Financial, aiming to provide personalized financial guidance to individuals with a net worth of $2 million or less—clients often overlooked by larger firms. The firm offers comprehensive services, including budgeting, cash flow management, insurance reviews, tax strategies, and retirement planning, all tailored to each client's unique financial situation.
As both a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an Enrolled Agent, Chad has the expertise to address complex financial and tax planning needs. He is also a member of the XY Planning Network, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and the Fee-Only Network. His commitment to fiduciary responsibility means he strives to act in his clients’ best interests and to be transparent about any potential conflicts.
Through Custom Fit Financial, Chad combines his mentoring skills with financial expertise to help clients navigate their financial journeys confidently, providing the tools and support needed to achieve long-term security and peace of mind.
Mission Statement
At Custom Fit Financial, our mission is to provide clear, practical, and personalized financial guidance that empowers individuals and families to make confident, informed decisions about their money. I serve clients with a net worth of $2 million or less, helping them create financial plans that fit their unique goals, values, and life circumstances.
Why I Became an Advisor
I became a financial planner because I have always been passionate about helping people make better decisions for their future. After more than 25 years in the Information Technology field, much of it in leadership roles, I realized that my most rewarding work came from mentoring others, especially when it involved personal finance and career growth.
I saw how many individuals and families with modest or mid-level wealth often lacked access to truly personalized, unbiased advice. I wanted to create a place where they could receive the same level of planning, attention, and care that larger firms reserve for their wealthiest clients.
Founding Custom Fit Financial allowed me to combine my problem-solving skills, love of teaching, and financial expertise to help people feel confident about their money and their future.
